Printing, plainly

Everything worth knowing before you press print.

What paper should I use?
Ordinary printer paper is fine for pencils and crayons. For felt-tip markers, heavier paper — 120 gsm or light card — stops the color soaking through to the next page.
Why is my border cut off?
Choose Fit to page in the print dialog, not Fill page. Fill crops the edges, and the hand-drawn frame is the first thing to go.
Color or black and white?
Black and white. The pages are pure line art, so a color cartridge is only spent on the small mouse.
Can I print it more than once?
As many times as you like, for your own family or your own classroom. Please do not resell the files or pass them on.
Single or double sided?
Single sided. Markers bleed, and a child usually wants to keep the page.
No printer at home?
Any print shop will do it from the PDF on a USB stick. Ask for A4 or US Letter, single sided, black and white.
